Isn’t that an inspired shot!
He was a skilled artist with a camera, John. I can’t tell you how often I miss him.
It is so good that you have these superb photos and can share them with the world. They are a lasting and very personal memorial to a talented young man.
He was a true artist with his camera!
He was, Betty, although his web design skills were even more powerful. When he died of cancer it seemed so wrong, but then, I suppose millions upon millions of people have felt that feeling. I so appreciate you coming here and commenting.
Thomas, I hope it gives you comfort to know that you’re right, and that you’re not alone. When my brother died of polio in 1952 at age 8 it naturally devastated them, and over the years (though they rarely spoke of it) I know it was on their minds – the lost potential. The “what if’s”. I can’t even imagine the pain of losing a child, no matter how old they are. My continuing condolences to you and Ethel. Thank you for continuing to share your son’s beautiful work with us. He lives on in all he created..
