Ethel, another incredible pastel painting! And I can see the light … you make me want to reach in and grab it! Lovely. Wishing you and Thomas a wonderful day, and keeping you both in my thoughts and prayers. ~ Julie 🙂 xox
Love this. I love pastels and this one is wonderful! Concept and execution and subject. Awesome. My eyes were drawn to the light right away. How often to we look for darkness and surely find it when if we’d looked for the light, we’d find it’s always there. Not only that, but when we learn that fact, the constant presence of Light, we are able to find it without even trying! Delightful piece of art!

Look at this piece of art! It is amazing and it is exactly what we as Christians are called to do and to be. Anyone can find darkness, but if we learn to see the light . . . it becomes so much a part of us that it takes little or no effort to find it and then we can reflect it to those who need to see it for themselves!
A tunnel of soft chaos, like looking through a ball of yarn that has been pulled apart and probably tangled a little, drawn to a light less for order than insight. Beautiful work, as always, Ethel. Hope that you and Thomas and all your family are well.
