Peninsula Pulse’s Review of In the Unsettled Homeland of Dreams

A great review of “In the Unsettled Homeland of Dreams”  has been published in “The Peninsula Pulse,” a publication that distributes about 9,000 copies in the winter. The summer circulation is more like 16,000. It is by far the best local coverage publication I know about, and I appreciate this review by Alissa Ehmke.

My daughters, Sonja Bingen and Mary Wood, posted this on their Facebook pages, alerting me to this.

  1. Excellent! That is good photo of you!

    • Thanks so much Linda. I hope you guys are having an excellent year. The harvest is starting?

      • Yes, for the farmers around here. Terry rented out the farm this year so we don’t have anything to really harvest. Sorta sad, really

      • I haven’t liked retirement, so I work a lot still, although I love writing books. This novel is really really going over well. I hope it continues. Ethel and I talk about our visit to you, Terry, and Delta (and the Mexican restaurant downtown) every once in awhile. We so appreciated our day there. You guys are the best.

  2. Congratulations! I’ll make sure to read this book. What a great subject and story to tell! I think it’s especially important in these interesting (in my opinion, backward) times. Thank you for getting the courage to complete and publish this. I also love your quote, “… I like the sound of language; that’s important to me.”

  3. An interesting review, Tom! I now have your latest book on my Kindle, (along with Salt Bear, one of my favorite books of yours which I downloaded to Kindle years ago).
Hope all is well with you and Ethel. Sorry I’m behind reading blogs, as usual. Looking forward to catching up with you both here.
