Used to have lots of monarchs, only a couple now and then, but we were graced with numerous swallowtails. 💘
Sonja has a huge wildflower garden in southern Wisconsin that has a lot of milkweed, Paula. This is a photo from that garden. We planted milkweed here in Door County too, and we have seen an increase in monarch sitings this summer. In the past we have not seen many, but we are encouraged that we are seeing them again. Swallowtails are wonderful too.
