The laughing
black bear
disappears
into the sky-
I know he’s there
only because
of the glints
of light
flashing
in his eyes.

I love this one, Ethel.
Thank you. Love Ethel
THE BLACK BEAR
I am relieved he is laughing today
For when he roars I am terrified
He shows me his changing moods
That I may learn to temper my own
I really love this. Ethel
Tonight he has his eyes closed because he hides from the hunter’s bow and arrows.
